About Us

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Dee Keegan is the fifth generation of Masters within her family to practice the fine art of crafting, restoration and conservation of fine furniture and interiors. After a 4 year apprentice- ship through the Irish Guild System in traditional finishes, Dee spent three years as a journeyman studying and specializing in modern and Italian baked finishes.

In addition to establishing her own successful antique furniture restoration business with her son, Dee has taught in the art of furniture finishing, conservation and in the restoration of antiques, both in the United States nad overseas.

Amongst other renowed institutions, she has tutored at Sotheby's Restoration in New York and has lectured at New York University. Dee has also served as an official apprenticeship trainer for the Irish Apprenticeship Board.
